Accessing ASSAI Drawings and Documents

ASSAI is a document repository that can be interfaced with IMS.

Requests for an Assai interface should initially go through your Account Manager.

Requirements

For Cenosco to be able to provide you with a working Assai interface you need to provide the following:

Important

It is very important that the provided User is a valid and Active one. 

User can be provided and checked with the dedicated Assai Agent

Setting up the interface

After the above information has been supplied, Cenosco can set up the interface for you.

Accessing the repository and adding documents and drawings

To Access the repository:

  • Go to the Equipment Details Page.

  • Scroll to the Drawings and Documents section.

  • Click Search for Drawings and Documents.

If the Assai interface is enabled it will be present as a Source.


If the Assai interface is working the results will be shown with a Database Icon (1).

Result with a Download icon (2) signifies that the file was already downloaded at some point in time and it is now  in the Local storage.

Take Note

Currently the interface search is working on a string based modularity, so if the revisions in Assai are marked with a letter, the latest visible version will be the one marked with the later letter in the alphabet.

For example an “R03” revision will be considered a later revision than “C05”.
