Subsystems Settings

Prev Next

Here all Subsystems can be viewed and edited (depending on your Role). You can also see in which SIF Analyses the Subsystem is being used.

If any of the following Subsystem Details are modified from the SIS Settings, then all SIF Analyses using that Subsystem will automatically revert to Draft and inherit the changes:

  • Type (Note: any existing Equipment in the SIF Analysis will be removed)

  • Name

  • Plant / Unit

  • Align TI

  • Target Accuracy (for Sensor Subsystems)

  • TSO Required (for FE Subsystems) - including related fields when selected

When a Subsystem is modified from within a SIF Analysis, the changes will be reflected in the SIS Settings after they are saved — as long as all SIF Analyses using that Subsystem are still in Draft. However, if any of the linked SIF Analyses are already Final Approved, the changes will not appear in the Settings until the SIF Analysis containing the updated Subsystem is also Final Approved. At that point, all other linked Final Approved SIF Analyses will automatically revert to Draft.
