Action Items - Overview

Action Items are a simple tool used to track any IMS-related tasks. Among other capabilities, Action Items allow you to:

• Assign items to an assignee and a reviewer.
• Send email notifications to assigned users.
• Comment on Action Items and add attachments to them.
• Track Actions related to Action Items.
• Create Actions related to specific objects, such as Equipment or FLOCs.

Action Items are intended to capture work flows which aren't directly related to inspections or corrective actions and, as such, differ from Schedules in that they cannot be interfaced with a CMMS.
