# CAPS2025 Inches

Go to Settings \ Maintenance \ Common data \ Inches. See [CAPS2025 Common Data Overview](/v414/docs/caps2025-common-data-overview)..

The Inches maintenance window allows users to add, delete or modify bolt diameters. Bolt diameters are expressed in fractions, e.g. 1 ¼ inch. Fractions are stored in string (text) format. The numerical values are used for sorting purposes, while the display values are used if the diameter is displayed or printed.
