# CAPS2025 Notes

Go to Settings \ Maintenance \ Common data \ Note. See [CAPS2025 Common Data Overview](/v414/docs/caps2025-common-data-overview).

Notes are used to document a Piping Class. A Note is a predefined text string, which can be added to a Piping Class and is identified by its Note ID.
