Condition History Summarisation Tool

The Condition History Summarisation Tool is used to generate a concise, readable summary of all of the Condition Histories associated with a piece of Equipment or FLOC.

Running the Condition History Summarisation Tool

To access the Condition History Summarisation Tool:

• Open the Details page for a piece of Equipment/FLOC.

• Click the Summarise button in the header of the Details page.

Upon opening, the Condition History Summarisation Tool will display a progress dialog.

When the Condition History Summary has been generated, a Summary Dialog will pop up, as shown below.

The Condition History Summary contains three sections, as shown in the example below:

1. Text Summary: Lists the time period to which the summary applies, based on the date of the first and last ECH on which the summary is based, together with the number of ECHs examined. The summary contains a concise description of the content of the ECH Narratives, together with a bulleted list of key findings identified in the Narratives.  

2. Last Condition Histories: Lists the four latest Condition Histories recorded for the Equipment. Click the Condition History title to open the ECH in a new tab.

3. Upcoming Schedules: Lists any upcoming Schedules for the Equipment. Click the Schedule Name to open it in a new tab.

To dismiss the dialog:

• Click X in the top right corner of the dialog.

You will be returned to the Equipment/FLOC Details page.

Note

Keep in mind that the Condition History Summarisation Tool currently derives its results from the content contained in the Narrative section of the Condition Histories completed for a piece of Equipment. Depending on the completeness of the narrative, the results of the AI-generated summary may not be fully representative of the Equipment Condition.

Submitting Feedback

To help improve the Condition History Summarisation Tool, the Summary dialog contains two buttons. By clicking one of the two buttons at the bottom right corner of the dialog, you can help the tool return more relevant information.

To submit feedback:

• Click either the Not Helpful, or Helpful, Thanks! buttons in the bottom right corner of the Summary dialog.

Enabling/Disabling AI Summarisation

To enable or disable AI Summarisation:

• Open the IMS Settings page by clicking Settings in the top menu.

• Navigate to Maintenance → Configuration → Application Settings using the panel on the left-hand side of the screen.

• Search for the Enable AI summarisation prompting setting in the Application Settings Grid List.

• Enter the desired setting for the B Value, were the B Value is a boolean:

  • 1: Enable AI Summarisation Prompting.

  • 0: Disable AI Summarisation Prompting.

• Click Save.
