The Long and Short Corrosion Rates from one or more Probes can be imported in PLSS via an ECH Dynamic Form and shown in the Corrosion Monitoring section.
To import the Long and Short Corrosion Rates:
- Define the Probes in the Inspection Locations on the Equipment Details Page of your Equipment. The Inspection Location, Description, and Type are mandatory. The other fields are optional. In the example below two probes have been defined:
Note: the Type must be set to "Probe"!
- Go back to the Corrosion Monitoring section.
- Click Plus to add the Probe data.

- Enter Condition Date and Description in the Condition History pop-up window. Note: The Condition Date is the date when the probe data was recorded.
- Click Save.
- On the ECH Details Page of the created ECH navigate to the Schedules credited section.
- Click Select, or if there is a Probe Schedule, click the Credit button:
- In the Inspection data and codes section, click here on the Arrow
button and select "Probe Input":
This will show the Probe Dynamic Form:
- Click on the first Probes Stage Card to open the Stage.
- Add the Probe data manually or import it from an Excel file.
- Final Approve the ECH.
- Return to the Internal Corrosion module to see the newly entered data.
