# Creating new Assemblies

To create a Assembly

- Go to the **Assembly** Main Screen.

- Enter the required data in the pop-up window. Note that yellow fields are mandatory.

- Click **Save** when done.

The new Assembly will be created, and you will be redirected to the [Assembly Details Page](/v414/docs/assembly-details-page) that was just created.

Assembly pop-up fields:

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Name (mandatory) | Short name for an Assembly. |
| Description (mandatory) | Descriptive name for an Assembly. |
| Company (mandatory) | Lets user assign an assembly to a predefined Company. |
