DataIntegrity - Equipment/Schedule Alignment Overview

Article summary

The Equipment/Schedule Alignment section of the DataIntegrity Dashboard lists all Equipment and Schedules that are experiencing an alignment issue.

Reasons as to why this situation may occur are varied:

  1. Legacy data issues.
  2. Functionality issues that may occur under heavy site usage where the workflows do not execute fully.
  3. Software defects that for a limited time allow entering misaligned data.

How to work with the Dashboard

The Dashboard section Equipment/Schedule Alignment breaks the data down based on the Alignment Status and the combined Equipment/Schedule Active Status. (L) designates legacy Equipment/Schedules. Ideally, all these counts should be zero. The idea is to give the user a chance to review the Equipment/Schedule alignment issues.

The Alignment Status

  1. Driver/Category/Discipline not set - This is for Schedules that have some mandatory properties not set. For the details please check the dedicated article here.
  2. Schedule not credited correctly - This is Schedules that have not been credited properly in an ECH. To resolve the issue, the ECH should be edited and again approved. Doing so should correct the data, credit the existing Schedule and create a new recurring Schedule if required.
  3. Redundant default schedule - This is for Equipment that have an extra default Schedule. To resolve this issue you can toggle the Floc Inspection Reason (if the Equipment is supposed to have Class 4, confirming Class 4 should remove the default Schedules) or report the list of Schedules to be deleted to Support.
  4. Equipment w/o Schedules - This is for Equipment that have no Schedules. This list only includes non Class 4 (or comparable) Equipment and Pipes that have not been added to Piping systems. To resolve this issue you can toggle the Floc Inspection Reason or report the list of Equipment that are missing the default Schedule to Support.

Using the Custom Query for Checking

You can open the custom Query by clicking the count for the category of interest in the Dashboard section. The Query was designed to provide as much relevant information in one place without being too cluttered. Please note that the three ECH related columns are only relevant for the Schedule not credited correctly status, while the Equipment w/o Schedules status will not have any Schedules to reference, so all of the Schedule related columns will be empty.
