# Configuring the Default Main Menus per User role via Settings

In the Default main tabs per User role section of the **Settings** Menu, the default main menu tabs are configured for each User Role (currently, this only applies to PEI). Each User can still modify his personal menu in his **My** **Account** Settings (see [Navigating IMS Main Menu Items](/v414/docs/basic-navigation-main-menu)).
