They are often linked to [Barriers](/v414/docs/plss-degradation-barrier-menu). Preventative Schedules are [Created](/v414/docs/creating-schedules-inspection-cair-and-rbi-re-assessment), [Defined](/v414/docs/defining-inspection-schedules), and [Approved](/v414/docs/approving-editing-and-extending-schedules), they can also be [linked to an Event](/v414/docs/tying-schedules-to-upcoming-events), and marked for [WOP](/v414/docs/waiting-on-paperwork), in the same way as Inspection Schedules. Lastly, they must also, just as with Inspection Schedules, be credited in the [ECH](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com/v414/docs/ims-condition-histories-echs-across-discipline). See [Defining Inspection Schedules](/v414/docs/defining-inspection-schedules) for more.
