Degradation Management is a continuous work process. The figure below depicts this process in IMS.
The S-RBI Analysis is implemented on the Component level, per Degradation Mechanism (DM). Components are the separate parts of an Equipment that have the Barriers against the Threats of the DMs. Thus, they need verification through inspection. The implementation of this work process in IMS, including the S-RBI Analysis steps, is further outlined in the PEI Degradation Management - Implementation.
