Deleting DMs, Barriers, Notes
Deleting Barriers and DMs (not yet in scope of a Schedule)
To delete a DM or a Barrier or Note in the CL:
Open the CL Details Page (see IMS Details Page) and go to the Degradation Management section.
Click x on the specific card.
In the case of a Barrier a lightbox with the following warning will appear: You are about to delete a barrier [Barrier name].
Click OK to confirm deleting the Barrier.
After deleting the Barrier, a notification "Delete Successful" will be displayed.
Deleting DMs in scope of Schedules
When a DM is being used in an open Schedule it cannot be expired. You will get an error messages as shown below.
This is because when an RBI Component-DM is put in the scope of a Schedule and Approved, it becomes part of the Schedule history.
The only way to delete the DM from the CL is to:
Put the Schedule (that has the RBI Component-DM in scope) back into Draft.
Remove the Component from the Schedule Scope.
Then remove the assigned DM from the Component, i.e., expire the RBI Analysis:
Click New Analysis.
Uncheck the box next to the DM that is to be removed.
Click Save.
When there are not RBI Analyses on the DM, the DM can be deleted in the CL. Note: Even after removing the RBI Component from the Schedule scope, it is left as part of the history, which will prevent the deletion of the Component. Only the DM can be deleted.
