Download Selected Data to Mobile Device (Step II)

After the you selected the offline scope (Step I), you can start downloading the scope.

To download the selected data to your mobile device:

• Connect your mobile device to the VPN.
• Click on the IMS Offline App icon to open it. (If not yet installed, see Installing IMS Offline on a Mobile Device.)
• Login to IMS Offline:
  • Type your Username and Password. Note: If you do not have a password yet, go to Step I.
  • Pick a Site where you have an account.
  • Click CONNECT.

Login to IMS Offline. 

• If you already selected an offline scope in Step I, IMS will now automatically start downloading the data to the local IMS database on your mobile device
  • However, if no items are selected for offline use, click GET EQUIPMENT FOR OFFLINE USE. This will direct you to the central IMS database by opening IMS on your mobile device.
    If no items were selected for offline use, IMS Offline will show the above message.  Click GET EQUIPMENT FOR OFFLINE USE, to navigate to IMS. 
  • Now follow Step I.
  • When done, click x to go back to IMS Offline. 
    Click x to go back to IMS Offline. 
  • The data will automatically start downloading.
  • “DOWNLOAD PENDING” will show. The download time depends on the number of Equipment and other data in scope.

Busy downloading data. 

• When done downloading, “DOWNLOAD COMPLETE” will show.

When done, “Download Complete” shows.

 Now you can start record your ECH in offline mode! (Step III)
