# Drawings Section of Details Pages

A Drawings and Documents Section is displayed on the Details Page of each entity in IMS (e.g., FLOC, Equipment, CML, etc.). This section displays thumbnails of drawings that have been assigned to the entity and allows you to assign additional drawings to the entity.

To access the Drawings and Documents:

- Scroll down or click **Drawings and Documents** on the entity’s Details Page.

In the example above, the Details Page contains three thumbnails, including a 3D Model and two CAD drawings.

### Viewing Drawings

#### Viewing Drawings in an Entity’s Details Page

To view a Drawing directly in an Entity’s (FLOC, Equipment, Schedule, ECH, etc.):

1. Scroll down to the Drawings and Documents section of the entity’s Details Page.
2. Click on a Drawing thumbnail.

The Drawing will be displayed in the [2D Viewer](/v414/docs/2d-viewer-and-tools).

#### Opening the Drawings Details Page for a Drawing

To view the Drawings Details Page for a Drawing attached to an entity (FLOC, Equipment, Schedule, ECH, etc.):

1. Navigate to the Drawings and Documents Section on the entity’s Details Page.
2. Click the hyperlink below the Drawing thumbnail to open the Drawing’s Details Page in a new browser tab.

### Assigning new Drawings

To assign a new Drawing to your entity:

- Click **Search for Drawings and Documents**.

Click to Assign new Drawings & Documents.

The display will change from the thumbnail view to the Drawings and Documents Search dialog.

Search for Drawings and Documents.

- Enter your search Criteria in the Search portion of the dialog.
- Click **Search**.
- Select any Drawings or Documents that you wish to assign to the entity.
- Click **Apply**.

Click **Apply** to Assign Drawings.

To return to the Thumbnail View:

- Click **Back to Drawings and Documents.**

### Unassigning Drawings and Documents

To unassign a Drawing or Document from an entity:

- Hover over a thumbnail of a document.
- Click the **X** that appears in the top right corner of the thumbnail.

Click **X** to unassign a Drawing.

You will be asked for confirmation prior to unassigning the Drawing.

- Click **Yes** to confirm or **No** to return to dismiss the Confirmation dialog.
