On the Documents Tab you can add Attachments, as well as Drawings and other documents to the Parent (HAZOP). The uploaded attachments then become available to be added (linked) to any Node. This is done from the Node card (on the HAZOP Tab ). See Defining Nodes.
Attachments
In this section pictures, drawings, reports, and other data can be uploaded and saved to the Parent (HAZOP) file. You can either just drag and drop your files to here or click in this section to go to the browser. When using a mobile device in the field, you can also use the camera button to take pictures and upload them directly. The below images shows the available functionality in the Attachments section.
When you select an attachment, additional functionality becomes available. The table below explains what the functions do.
Attachment toolbar:
Function | Description |

open | This opens the attachment in full screen. Click the Edit button , to annotate the attachment. |
annotate | This opens the attachment in annotation mode. Thus, with the annotation functions already available. See Figure 62. When done, click SAVE or click the arrow to go back without saving. |
properties | Click this to change the Name and Description. |
download | This will download the attachment. |
delete | This will delete the attachment. |
This will print the attachment. By default, it will be saved to PDF, or you can select a printer. |
Drawings and Documents
To add drawing the Parent (HAZOP):
- Click on SEARCH FOR DRAWINGS to search for a desired drawing.
- Add some search criteria.
- Select the desired drawings from the generated list.
- Click Apply.
- The added drawings will be shown.
- Click on any drawing to open it in Full Screen.
Drawings can also be added to individual Nodes. This is done from the Node card (on the HAZOP Tab ). See Defining Nodes.
Other Documents
To add other documents to the Parent (HAZOP):
- Click the +.
- Use the search functionality to find the desired document.
- Add a Note.
- Click Save.
