Importing Attachments via Settings

Data Transfer subsections.
In the Import Attachments section of the Settings Menu multiple attachments can be imported. The import wizard provides an import template for each object (e.g. Equipment, Circuit, Schedule). In this template, the information about this object should be populated (such as the name of the Equipment) and the name of the attachment.

To import multiple attachments:

• Go to Settings \ Data Transfer \ Import Attachments.
• Click Download Import Attachment Template to download the index template.
• Create a new folder on your own hard disk.
• Copy all attachments in that folder. Note: Make sure you do not create subfolders.
• Populate the index template (with file and object names).
• Save the template as “index.xlsx” in the same folder.
• Select all files in the folder (including the index.xlsx) and create one ZIP file.
• Go back to Settings \ Data Transfer \ Import Attachments.
• Click Browse and select the .ZIP file.
• Select the Import Type.
• Click Next to follow the Import Wizard steps.
