Importing Attachments and Anomalies from Campaign Import
You can also link existing Anomalies and create new ones directly in the Campaigns workpack export/import file. Additionally, you can import Attachments in a Single import.
For the existing Anomaly to be linked to the Observation successfully the following criteria need to be met:
- In the Finding field, Y must be entered.
- Observation text must be specified.
- Existing Anomaly related to the applicable Equipment must be specified in the Anomaly field.
If any of these criteria are not met, the import will not be successful and you will receive a warning from the system.
For a new Anomaly to be created and linked to the Observation and Inspection Location successfully:
- In the Finding field, Y must be entered.
- Observation text must be specified.
- Inspection Location must be specified.
- The Anomaly field needs to be left empty.
If the Finding field is empty or N, no Anomalies will be linked, regardless of the Anomaly field.
If the name of one or more Attachments is added to the new Attachment column of the "Underwater Eq. Activities" Import template, uploading the filled-in Excel file will result in the creation of a new CSV file. This new file will contain the name of the Anomalies and ECHs as well as the Attachments that need to be added to them. The newly generated file can be downloaded from the Import wizard (Step 5 of 5). To see how to complete the Attachment import, navigate to Settings / Data Import / Attachment Import.
