In PLSS, Schedules are created at the Equipment level. A Schedule contains information on:
- When to perform an activity.
- What to do.
- How to do it.
In PLSS four Schedule Types have been implemented. A Schedule can be created for:
- An Inspection (ILI run, collect CP data, …).
- An Assessment (RBA Assessment, Internal Corrosion Assessment, …).
- A Corrective Action (a once-off activity).
- Preventative Maintenance (cleaning pigging, hydrotest, …).
After selecting the Schedule Type, the “What to do” has to be specified by:
- selecting the Scope, for example, Overland Survey, Pigging, or Sampling, ….and,
- selecting the corresponding Plan for that Scope by clicking on "What is planned?" For example, "CP Test Post Survey" is a Plan for the Scope "Overlay Survey".
More information on “How to do” the activity, can be specified in the sections Narrative, Tasks, or Attachments.
So, each Schedule contains:
- A Date, before the Schedule / activity has to be executed.
- A Scope depending on Schedule Type.
- One or more Plan Codes depending on the Scope.
- A Narrative, with a more detailed description of the work.
- Attachments, optional.
After the activity (activities) in the Schedule has been executed, the results will be stored in IMS-PLSS and the Schedule should be credited in the ECH. See Creating Schedules.
Schedule information can be sent to SAP if the interface to SAP is switched on.
