# Enabling 3D Tools

The **3D Observation** and **Observation Scan** menus may not visible by default. You can enable the menus by following these steps:

- Click **My Account** in the top of your screen.
- Click **Edit**.
- Check Show the 3D Observations (shown on the bottom left). This enables the Observations on the ECHs.
- Click **Save**. (The 3D Observation and Observation Scan items should now be visible in the Main Grid Settings.)
- Click **Edit** once again and then check 3D Observation and Observation Scan in the Main Grid Settings.
- Click **Save**.

The OB-Items (Observation Items) will now be visible in the ECHs and the **3D Observation** and **Observation Scan** Main Screen menus will now be visible in the main menu.
