Why can’t I find the Sign-off feature for overriding the Integrity Traffic Light color in IMS PLSS?

The Sign-off functionality has been deprecated. Now the Equipment Integrity Status sets the color of the traffic light for the Equipment. This status is set while creating an ECH. For more information see Selecting PLSS ECH Integrity Status.

Why are some of the icons in my Equipment Details page header greyed out?

If the icons for PLSS modules are greyed out on your Equipment Details page, below are a couple of things to check:

  • Mismatch between the In-service/Installation date and the date in the MAOP history grid: To fix this issue, delete the entry from the MAOP history grid, and re-add it. The icons in the header (FFS, ILI, Internal Corrosion, etc.) should be enabled.

  • Mixed Protection Pipelines with Undefined Onshore Soil Sectioning: When a Pipeline has been created with Mixed Protection (see: PLSS Equipment Details Page - Environment), the Onshore Soil Sectioning (see: PLSS Equipment Details Page - External Corrosion )must be defined for the entire length of the Pipeline to enable the icons in the Details Page header (FFS, ILI, Internal Corrosion, etc.).

For Pipelines with Mixed Protection, ensure that Onshore Soil Sectioning has been completed to enable additional PLSS Modules.
