# FCM Release 3.12

February 2020

w-IMS FCM provides overall integrity status for flange connections: by managing critical flanges during assembly and disassembly; by identifying when and what to inspect on flange connections; and by following recommended practices in AMS RP 4-07.

Version 3.12 brings updates regarding flange specs and improvements based on pilot feedback.

## Enabled free text entry when ”OTHER” is selected in Recommended Specs

IMSFB-12456

When “OTHER” is selected in Recommended Specs, an additional field is now shown where free text can be entered. This is enabled for “Stud Coating”, “Gasket Type”, “Gasket Material” and “Lubricant”.

## Removed restrictions on recommended Tightening Method

IMSFB-12464

The Tightening Method can now be changed from the preselected Method and it does not disable the other options.

## Washers added to Recommended Specs

IMSFB-12463

Washers can now be selected under the Recommended Specs options. Two properties were added:

- Washers (YES/NO), and
- Washers Type (Hardened Washers, Belleville Washers, Specialty Washers).

## Flange description shown when added to job

The flange description is now shown when the flange is added to a job.

## Dropdown values changed

IMSFB-12462

Dropdown values were changed for Tightening Method, Flange Type, Gasket Type, Nut Material, Stud Grade, and Gasket Material. The tables below show the values that were changed (in yellow) and the values that were added (in green).

### 1. Tightening Method, Flange Type, Gasket Type

Gasket materials with * are only available when Flange Type is Ring Joint.
