# Handbook - log in instructions to be shared with Customers

To access the private section of the Handbook (which includes [Release Notes](/v414/docs/where-are-the-release-notes), Site-Specific Documents, and Recommended Practices), you first need to create an account.

## Creating a Handbook Account

Below is explained how a customer can create an account for the Handbook:

- Go to the IMS Handbook:
  - Go to [https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com), or
  - Go to IMS and click on **Handbook** in the Header.

- On the Login screen, click **Self Signup.**

- Fill in the requested data and click **Register**.

Important

Use your work e-mail address. If you cannot create a login with this email, it means your domain has not yet been whitelisted. In this case contact Cenosco Support.

- You will receive an activation e-mail from: IMS Handbook <ims.handbook@cenosco.com>.
- Click **Activate your account**.

- Enter your desired password, confirm, and click **Set password**.

> Important
> 
> Remember to save your password for future use!

## Forgotten Password

If you already have an account, but the password was forgotten, you can reset it. To do so:

- On the Login screen click **Forgot password**.

- A pop-up screen will prompt you to enter your e-mail. Note: Remember to use your work e-mail.

- You will receive an e-mail from IMS Handbook <ims.handbook@cenosco.com>, to reset your password.

## Finding articles in the IMS Handbook

The IMS Handbook is an online (searchable) knowledge base with: Release notes, theory, step-by-step instructions, GIFs, videos, etc. It is constantly being updated… To find WHAT you need WHEN you need it:

- Enter your search keywords in the Search field.

- Select **All** / **Articles** / **Categories** to do a more specific search.

- Or click **More article filters** to do an advanced search with additional filters.
