Hydrocor Application Level

A Hydrocor Application Level can be assigned to users. This will determine what they can do and edit in Hydrocor.

Assigning the Hydrocor Appl level

The Hydrocor Application Level can be assigned to users, from Settings \ Maintenance \ Security \ Users. Here select one of the available options from the Hydrocor App Level drop-down menu. 

Now, Hydrocor App Level settings are located under Settings.

The following App levels are available: 

• "Expert"
• "Expert Plus" - this level is only available for Users with the "CSA" Role.
• "Hydrocor Viewer" - this level provides limited functionality for users who need to access the full Hydrocor but do not require the ability to save and calculate data.  

The Application level is visible in the Internal Corrosion module, under the Hydrocor section, when you click the Plus button to create an additional Cases. The level will be set to the same level that has been assigned.

Hydrocor Viewer privelages

This level provides limited functionality for users who need to access the full Hydrocor but do not require the ability to save and calculate data. If you have the "Hydrocor Viewer" Application level assigned, the Plus and Delete buttons will be disabled on an existing Hydrocor Assessment. 

"Hydrocor Viewes" will also not be able to click on the Save button in the Hydrocor Calculations section. Instead, you will receive a warning message.

Importing Internal Corrosion Files - App Level Check

During the import of the Internal Corrosion file, the system will check if you entered the correct SettingsApplevel in the Excel File that you are trying to import. The numbers that can be entered under the SettingApplevel are: 

• 2 for Hydrocor Viewer.
• 4 for Expert.
• 8 for Expert Plus.

For the file to be imported properly, you need to enter numbers 4 or 8 even if the Hydrocor App Level assigned to you is "Hydrocor Viewer".
