CMMS Improvements
Standardized CMMS Information Across Methodologies
To help standardize Equipment and FLOC Details pages across methodologies, a standard set of CMMS-related information is now displayed on both the FLOC and Equipment Details Pages for objects connected to a CMMS.

User Instructions

Planner Group and Plant Section Available on Main Grids
As part of ensuring that CMMS information is standardized across methodologies, Planner Group and Plant Section are now available on the FLOC, Equipment, CML, Schedule, and Condition History Main Grids in PEI, RCM, and SIS. New Filters have also been added to make it easier to manage the records in the Main Grids. If equipment properties are not defined in your CMMS, the FLOC Planner Group and Plant Section are displayed.

Additional CMMS information and Filters are available in PEI, RCM, and SIS Main Grids.
Ensuring Equipment Uniqueness
To improve and enhance data integrity, IMS will begin enforcing a uniqueness requirement for Equipment. Equipment uniqueness in IMS will be assessed using the combination of Equipment ID and Equipment Number.
Starting with this Release, Equipment not meeting this uniqueness requirement will be adjusted in the following ways:
If Equipment ID not unique and Equipment Number Empty: IMS will assign a unique Equipment Number prefixed with the letter “C”.
If Equipment ID + Equipment Number is not unique: The second and subsequent Equipment Numbers will be renumbered in the form of “XXXX_CurrentEquipmentNumber”, where X is a digit from 0-10.
Any changes will be captured in IMS Revisioning and Event Histories for tracking purposes.
Unit Turnaround Interval Changes
With this release, the Turnaround Interval field on a Unit in IMS has changed from a combo box to a numeric field. Turnaround intervals are now defined in months. For TAs where an interval was already selected, the equivalent number of months will now show, so there is no impact on the user.

Turnaround Time for a Unit is now.

Inspection Reason on Schedule grid updated
On the Schedule Main Screen (grid list), the field FLOC Inspection Reason has been renamed to Inspection Reason. It points to the Equipment’s Inspection Reason and falls back to the FLOC’s Inspection Reason if the value on Equipment level is not filled.
User Instructions
