This Section of the Handbook explains how to use IMS4Field
IMS4Field is a lite version of IMS dedicated to recording the results of inspections, maintenance and tests in the field using Dynamic Forms Checklists in Equipment Condition Histories. One of the main advantages of IMS4Field is the ability to use the software offline, such as in the field where an internet connection is often not reliable.
This Section of the Handbook contains:
A Journey Map showing how IMS, together with IMS4Field, can be used for fieldwork.
Instructions for Accessing IMS4Field and Installing the IMS4Field App to your mobile devices.
Instructions for Using IMS4Field.
Instructions for Working Offline with IMS4Field.
Instructions for collaborating with other inspectors using Working in Online Mode.
If you would like to learn more about some of the benefits and features of IMS4Field, see the attached PDFs.
IMS4Field uses the same database as IMS, meaning same data about equipment, schedules and condition histories are available.
