This entails: - The Circuit Inspection Reasons are aligned with the German regulation "BetrSichV. Take not that the Inspection Reason is inherited from the FLOC. - The [Circuit](/v414/docs/miro-circuits) is by default enabled for M-IDAP (there is an Enable MIDAP checkbox that can be checked / unchecked on the Circuit Details Page). - For the [Condition Monitoring Locations (CMLs)](/v414/docs/miro-cmls) a Piping Class has to be specified. This then determines for the CML the MaterialĀ and available Nominal DiametersĀ to select from, which in turn determines the Nominal WT, Renewal WT, Actual OD, Design Corrosion Allowance (CA). Note: These are all predefined in the [MiRO settings](/v414/docs/miro-specific-settings). - There is a special "Pipe - 6 x 1" Measurement Point (MP) configuration defined for the MiRO CMLs. - The Product, [specified on the Equipment](/docs/miro-equipment#specifying-the-product), influence the Confidence Target in M-IDAP. - [Measurement Set (MSET)](/v414/docs/miro-measurement-sets-1) data can be added manually or via the normal IMS import functionality. In addition the WT data can be imported from the datalogger (UT-R) or interfaced with DIMATE-PACS (UR). - Special [M-IDAP corrosion calculations](/v414/docs/m-idap-miro-corrosion-calcs) are implemented and can be revied on the M-IDAP Details Page. - The M-IDAP result is shown in the Circuit's [Calculation Summary](/v414/docs/miro-calculation-summary). - Standard IMS corrosion calculations as well as the S-IDAP analysis CR data can be hidden in the Calculation Summary. This is done in [My Account](/docs/basic-navigation-main-menu#my-account) by chekking the box for Hide IMS- and S-IDAP calculation results when M-IDAP is enabled. - By default only the M-IDAP NID and the Time-Based NID takes place in the horserace for the Corrosion Schedule NID. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/MiRO%20(53).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T13%3A37%3A47Z&se=2026-10-28T14%3A37%3A47Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=KG8NXib92HeT%2BgtBWUiZU48IQFOFrh6GfP1LGTrisOo%3D)MiRO Circuits in terms of the hierarchy. Circuits are created under Equipment. For each Circuit multiple Condition Monitoring Locations (CMLs) can be defined. Each CML is again defined in terms of the Measurement Points (MPs). A recurring Corrosion Schedule is automatically created for the Circuit. For every inspection a Measurement Set (MSET) needs to be created. This can be a subset of the CMLs. The Wall Thickness (WT) readings are recorded in the MSET. The M-IDAP calculates the Corrosion Rate (CR) and Remaining Life (RL). This is used to determine the M-IDAP NID. The results are shown in the calculation summary on the Circuit Details Page. When the calculation summary is approved the Schedule is credited and a new Corrosion Schedule is created. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/MiRO%20(54).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T13%3A37%3A47Z&se=2026-10-28T14%3A37%3A47Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=KG8NXib92HeT%2BgtBWUiZU48IQFOFrh6GfP1LGTrisOo%3D)Another representation of the MiRO Circuit in terms of the Hierarchy.
