In certain cases, the MII (Maximum Inspection Interval) in the Calculation Summary displays as 0, preventing visibility of the correct inspection planning data. This can interfere with compliance tracking and scheduling accuracy.
To resolve this issue and display the correct MII and Next Inspection Date:
Final Approve the Corrosion Schedule
Ensure the corrosion schedule is fully approved in the system before proceeding.
Edit the Corrosion Schedule
Open the corrosion schedule for editing.
Update the User Interval
Replace the existing User Interval with the Calculated Interval shown in the system.
This value is typically found in the “Time Interval (Calculated)” section.
Enable “Exceed Max”
If prompted, check the box labeled “Exceed Max” to allow the new interval to override the default maximum.
Save and Confirm
After saving, the MII in the Calculation Summary will update from 0 to the new interval value.
Once completed, the system will correctly display:
Next Inspection Date based on the updated interval
MII reflecting the calculated value instead of zero
Note that:
This workaround is intended as a temporary solution until a permanent fix is implemented.
Always document the change and rationale in the schedule notes for traceability.
If unsure about the calculated interval, consult the RBI analysis or contact the corrosion engineering team.
