With regards to IMP PEI, it is mostly focused on User Management, Circuits, RBI, and ECHs/Schedules. With regards to ONE IMS, improvements have been made to HSSE Criticality, Dynamic Forms, IOWs, MEC Cost, and User (Role) management. New to IMS is the Systems which can be used to group FLOCs and Equipment. --- ## IMS 2022 Q1 Realization IMS PEI: | Features | Comments | | --- | --- | | FMA | See [Fabric Maintenance (FMA)](/v414/docs/pei-release-20221#fabric-maintenance-fma). | | Enhancements on user Roles | See [User Management](/v414/docs/pei-release-20221#user-management) (and [Role Assigning Privileges](/v414/docs/one-ims-release-20221#role-assigning-privileges)). | | Report Enhancement | See [Report Enhancements](/v414/docs/pei-release-20221#report-enhancements). | | Other Improvements | See [Other PEI Enhancements](/v414/docs/pei-release-20221#other-pei-enhancements). | --- ## Fabric Maintenance (FMA) As a pathfinder the GOM Fabric Maintenance (FMA) situation was assessed: At GOM the FMA work has been managed with an Excel spreadsheet – Paint Master Plan (PMP). This made prioritization and long-term strategizing difficult. A solution to move FMA to IMS, was subsequently piloted for GOM. FMA in IMS makes it possible to align the FMA work with the SAP FLOCs. This way all FMA work (previous PMP items) can be managed as CAIRs, aligned with the different FMA Areas (AREA-FLOCs). Two new FMA Roles (editor and viewer) have been created in IMS PEI. Users with a FM Role will have a “lite” IMS PEI view – only the needed menus and functions will be available. Users with the FABRIC MAINTENANCE Role can: - Create & Edit AREA-FLOCs & then assign multiple FLOCs to them - Create & Edit Equipment (Group: AREA) - Create & Edit CAIRs with the FM Checklist (and link to Planned Events) - Create & Edit ECHs with the FM Checklist - View a FM KPI Dashboard (and later 2D/3D Maps) To enable FMA, IMS PEI now includes AREA-FLOCs. These special FLOCs are used to group multiple FLOCs together. This way the FMA Areas are recreated in IMS and the applicable PEI and Civil FMA CAIRs can be grouped according to the FMA Areas. ![Graphical user interface, table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-zdnyj05u.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 1: The new AREA-FLOC.Users with the FMA Role can create CAIRs (linked to Planned Events) and then credit them with ECHs. Both the CAIRs and ECHs will have the new FMA Checklist. ![Graphical user interface, application, Word Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-j73n0pm9.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 2: ECH with FMA Checklist.Lastly the FM data can be visualized with a KPI Dashboard. In future also 2D maps (and 3D when possible) will be available to enable further prioritization in terms of risk and due dates. ![Graphical user interface, application, table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-lc9ubu1c.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 3: FM Dashboard. ## User Management Some improvements have been made to User Management. Also, from an IMS ONE perspective the Role assignment privileges have been reviewed (see [Role Assignment Privileges](/v414/docs/one-ims-release-20221#role-assigning-privileges)). ### Combining and removing unused Roles [IMSFB-16289](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-16289), [IMSFB-25479](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-25479) A detailed assessment of used Roles in PEI was made. The following Roles has been flagged as expired from 21 March 2022: - Contractor - CMF (merged with RBI) - Spec approver - Insp Clerk/A - Hierarchy - Non PEI The CMF Role has been merged with RBI Role. This means that the RBI Role now has all the rights associated with the CMF Role as well. Expired Roles cannot be assigned to new users. But existing users will not be impacted. Take note: If multiple Roles are assigned to a user, the highest Role will always win. For example, if you have both the PEI Viewer and INSP GENERAL Role, your rights will be that of the INSP GENERAL. ### Civil Viewer Role [IMSFB-25814](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-25814) A Civil Viewer Role, similar to the PEI Viewer Role, has been added. The Civil Viewer will only have viewer rights. This way access can be granted as needed when working on Civil Projects. ### PEI INSP ADMIN Role updates [IMSFB-28673](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-28673) Users with the PEI INSP ADMIN can now assign any PEI Role to any user (see [Role Assignment Privileges](/v414/docs/one-ims-release-20221#role-assigning-privileges)). Also, the FM Roles are now available for them to assign. ## Report Enhancements The R033 Report has been improved. Furthermore, a new query source is available for displaying Witnessing Statuses on Dashboards. ### R033 Report improvement O-Ring and Seat Materials Specs added to R033 report [IMSFB-13877](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-13877) Three fields were added to the R033 report: “O-Ring Material”, “Seat Material”, and “Seat Base Material”. These come from the Equipment Specs. ![Table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-sim8i6ww.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 4: The “O-Ring Material” comes from the O RING: BASE MATL SPEC ![Graphical user interface, application, table, Excel Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-to9pmtsl.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 5: The “Seat Material” and “Seta Base Material” comes from the SEATGING SURFACE Specs. ![Graphical user interface, text, application Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-hhjz595s.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 6: The R033 report showing the new fields.  PRV ECH Checklist data added to R033 report [IMSFB-15781](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-15781) The R033 report now contains data from the ECH Checklist and is fully aligned. ![Graphical user interface, application, table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-cjpyizte.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 7: The R033 updated with the ECH Checklist data.  ### ### R052 Report improvement [IMSFB-28964](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-28964) Five sections were added to the R052 report: “Schedule scope”, “Schedule Codes Section”, “Plan Narrative”, “Dynamic Form” and Attachments.                                ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649586248188.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 8: The new sections added to the R052 report. ### R065 Report improvement [IMSFB-29400](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29400) The legacy R065 report was upgraded to a custom report, and several sections were added: “RBI Analysis”, “Tasks”, “Dynamic forms”, etc. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649586248286.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 9: New fields were added to the R065 report. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649586248444.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 10: The R065 report. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649586248633.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 11: The R065report continued.  ### Witnessing Statuses on Dashboard [IMSFB-27681](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-27681) IMS now has a clear list of all the latest Witnessing statuses in the system. It is therefore now possible to create a query with source “Witnessing Latest Status”. This way the statuses can be displayed on a Dashboard for easier tracking. ## Other PEI Enhancements In addition to the above-mentioned improvement IMS PEI has also been enhanced in terms of the Circuits, CMLs and MS, RBI, Schedules and ECHs, Authority Witnessing, Specs, and some other small changes. ### Circuits, CML and Measurement Set Usability Improvements [IMSFB-14575](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-14575) The Circuits usability have been improved in terms of the Measurement Sets, CMLs, EVA calculation results grid, and the logic for Circuits inherited to Components. #### Measurement Set Usability Improvements Mandatory field in MS only validated on Save [IMSFB-29644](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29644) The validation message for “mandatory fields” in the Measurement Set grid has been configured to only show when the Measurement Set is Saved. All other validation checks, e.g., “is number” will still happen when the user exits an input cell. Equipment name added to MS export [IMSFB-29646](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29646) The Measurement Set export file now contains both the Measurement Set name and the Equipment name. “CMLs with Curr readings” counts only for selected Circuit [IMSFB-29648](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29648) In the case when there is data from two or more Circuits in one Measurement Set, the “CMLs with Curr readings” on the Last Insp tab, will now only show the number of CMLs for the selected (Sub) Circuit. ![Graphical user interface Description automatically generated with medium confidence](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-6reabats.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 12: “CMLs with Curr readings” only show the number of CMLs for the selected Circuit.  Additional fields added to the MS Workpack [IMSFB-13367](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-13367) More fields were added to the Measurement Set Workpack, e.g.: - Nominal Thickness - Pipe Diameter - CML Description - Drawing # - Access Requirements This would be useful information to have readily available for the NDE contractor in his work pack. ![Table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-jolans1f.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 13: Creating a MS Workpack. ![Graphical user interface Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic1(32).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 14: The additional fields in the MS Workpack.  #### CML Usability Improvements CML Calc result tab [IMSFB-29647](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29647) The “Corr.” column Corr. has been removed from the CML Calc result tab.![Table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-q7pagtvd.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 15: The Corr. column now longer shows on the CML Calc Results tab. ![Graphical user interface, application Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-d7goyivi.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 16: The new CML Calc Results tab, without the Corr. column.  Extend LID filter on CMLs [IMSFB-29041](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29041) It is now possible to filter Circuits for the CML Last Inspection Date, as follows: - This Year - Last Year - Between 1 and 2 years - Between 2 and 5 years - Between 5 and 10 years - Between 10 and 20 years - More than 20 years ago ![Graphical user interface, application Description automatically generated with medium confidence](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-m6x1lkqe.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 17: The Last Inspection Date filter for the Circuit grid.  #### EVA Improvements EVA calculation results grid change [IMSFB-29669](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29669) To clarify that the CR shown in the EVA calculation results grid is the extrapolated EVA CR, an “EVA” label has been added. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-pm0azb8m.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 18: An “EVA” label was added to the CR column in the EVA calculation results grid.  EVA CML Filter enhancements [IMSFB-14090](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-14090) A filter option was added to the CML window. The reason for the revision was that it is possible for one Component to have multiple RBI assessments, e.g., one for Creep and one for AR Corrosion. In this case, depending on the NID horserace, it could happen that the Creep IF is inherited by the Circuit. However, the corrosion Circuit is not intended to manage Creep and should therefore never inherit this IF. To fix this problem, i.e., prevent this IF from being inherited, a new field, “Apply IF to Circuit”, was added to the Degradation Mechanism definition in settings. Only if this field is checked will the applicable DM’s IF be considered for inheritance by the Circuit. The logic to determine what to show in the “Circuit ID” field, in RBI grid, is based on the same “Apply IF to Circuit” flag. ![Graphical user interface Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-byar2dqv.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 22: When the IF Strategy is set to SRBI, the RBI Interval Factor will be inherited from the Component. ![Graphical user interface, application, table Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-y74g36t6.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 23: A new field was added to the Degradation Mechanism definition: “Apply IF to Circuit”. ![Graphical user interface Description automatically generated](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-release-pei-2022.1-image-ny1bi51a.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 24: The logic to determine what to show in the Circuit ID is based on the “Apply IF to Circuit” flag. ### #### Special Emphasis enhancement [IMSFB-18250](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-18250) In the past when a Circuit was set to inherit a Component’s SRBI IF, the Circuit’s Special Emphasis was not removed when the linked Component was updated from a Corrosive Deadleg to a Stable Deadleg during the SRBI Analysis. Now, in such a case, the Special Emphasis will be removed from the linked Circuit. This is to ensure that the IMS Calculated is not overwritten by the Special Emphasis (Corrosive Deadleg) Time Based Interval. This change will apply to the Circuits already in the system as well. ### RBI Fixes and Usability Improvements [IMSFB-29365](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-29365) The RBI changes entail a fix to the Remaining Life calculation (coating life was added) and a usability improvement in terms of an RBI Query for the Inspector Dashboard. #### Remnant Life calculation fixed to include Coating RL [IMSFB-19997](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-19997) Previously IMS only considered the Lining RL in the Remnant Life (RL) calculation. The calculation has now been fixed to also consider the Coating RL. This means that it can compare dates such as Turnaround dates and RBI Next Inspection Dates. Thus, the new RBI Query only shows Schedules with Turnaround dates after the RBI NID. This Query is available on the new Inspector Dashboard. #### HTHA StF questionnaire naming update [IMSFB-27697](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-27697) To prevent misinterpretation the RBI questionnaire “StF Excluding 0.5Mo Steels and non-PWHT Carbon Steel” has been renamed to better align with the RP with regards to the Inspection Strategy “ALL STEELS1 – Excluding 0.5Mo Steels and non-PWHT Carbon Steel”. It is now called “StF ALL STEELS - Excluding 0.5Mo Steels and non-PWHT Carbon Steel".                                 ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649587518772.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 26: The renamed StF HTHA questionnaire. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649587518859.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 27: The renamed StF HTHA questionnaire.  #### HTHA enhancement for equipment group bundles per RP 4.03.1 [IMSFB-17949](https://cenosco.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/IMSFB-17949) Heat exchanger tubes are normally not inspected for HTHA damage, since these tubes often have small diameters (typically < 2 inch or < 50 mm), with relatively low wall thickness (typically < 0.4 inch or < 10 mm), they are seamless, and they do not contain welds, except when seal or strength welded to the tube sheets. Therefore, for equipment group bundle, if the Degradation Mechanism is HTHA, IMS will now show the three recommendations from the RP (page 17, item 8.). ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1649588040817.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T15%3A06%3A15Z&se=2026-10-28T16%3A06%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=f2%2FJWZBNFkCRcjop8G9OSy7fLrwbR%2FhuhXitVGJrt8E%3D)Figure 28: Extract from RP 4.03.1 No table will be selected automatically.
