All other enhancements, not related to specific disciplines, are described in the [IMS Platform (General)](/docs/ims-platform-general-release-20243) Release Notes. --- ## **Task Templates Added** As we move forward with replacing Schedule Plan Codes with Task Templates, several PEI Plan Codes have been converted into Task Templates. Each Plan Code represents an Activity that can be included in Schedules via the Recommended Tasks Template. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_216.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about Task Templates, see: [IMS Task Templates](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com/v414/docs/ims-task-templates). > > For more details about how to add Recommanded Tasks to Schedules, see: [Adding Schedule Task Activities Through Task Templates](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com/v414/docs/defining-inspection-schedules#adding-schedule-task-activities-through-task-templates) ## **RBI Improvement** ### RBI Criticality shown in Component Main Screen The Component Main Screen grid includes a column labeled RBI Crit, which displays the worst current risk/criticality. When RBI 581 is enabled, the column shows the RBI 581 Crit, and when it is disabled, it shows the S-RBI Crit. If a Component has two or more Degradation Mechanisms assessed with RBI 581 the RBI Crit column will show the worst current risk, indicated by a color and letter. The risk levels are ranked from worst to best as follows: H (High), MH (Medium-High), M (Medium), and L (Low). ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1726483037500.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about RBI Criticality see [Step 9 Review Overall Criticality](/v414/docs/step-9-review-overall-criticality-1). ### RBI Specific Data Settings Updates #### Inspection Effectiveness and RBI581 Degradation Factor shown for Degradation Mechanisms Within Settings\Maintenance\RBI Specific Data\Degradation Mechanisms, we have added two new columns to the Degradation Mechanisms grid: - Inspection Effectiveness - RBI581 Degradation Factor These properties are also available as filter options and can be defined by users when creating a new Degradation Mechanism. Additionally, these new columns are included in the Excel export. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-NEQEGRKV.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) The Inspection Effectiveness Type \ determines the type of Inspection Effectiveness used in RBI 581. The RBI581 Degradation Factor displays the name of the RBI 581 calculation mapped to each Degradation Mechanism. If a Degradation Mechanism is mapped (i.e., has a value in the RBI581 Degradation Factor column), this indicates that an RBI 581 calculation exists for it in IMS. We've also added a filter for this RBI581 Degradation Factor. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-XFXU0RFH.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### RBI 581 Specific Data - Equipment GFF Costs Outage updated The Equipment GFF Costs Outage section under RBI 581 Specific Data Settings was updated. There were previously two tables displayed side by side, each taking up 50% of the screen. Now, the left table, which contains more data, occupies 70% of the screen width. A new column called Mapped has been added to this table. This column displays the Equipment Group, Component Type, and Diameter to which each row is mapped. It mirrors the data previously found in the right table, but now users can see the mappings without needing to click on individual rows. However, if they need to change something, add a new mapping, or export the mapping, they can still do so using the right table. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-DACHHNKC.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn mire about the RBI Specific Data Settings see: [Settings\Maintenance\RBI Specific Data](/v414/docs/rbi-specific-data-settings#rbi-581-specific-data). ### Improved RBI 581 Risk Plot We added a line to mark "Today" on the Risk plot and shaded the area from t=0 to today. This visually highlights the remaining time until the next predicted change in the Probability of Failure. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-O2M7MYTU.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about the Risk Matrix see [RBI 581 Risk Matrix](/v414/docs/rbi-581-risk-matrix). ### RBI 581 Consequence of Failure Tab Improvements #### Default Inventory Group Mass Added In the RBI 581 Details Page, under the **Consequence of Failure** tab, there is the Inventory Group Mass grid. Previously, when creating a new RBI Assessment, the grid would be empty. Now, a default record is automatically added with the current Equipment already selected. The user simply needs to enter the Inventory Mass In Equipment or Inventory Mass In Component to complete the record. Alternatively, the user can add a new record, and the default one will be removed from the grid (if no Inventory Mass In Equipment or Inventory Mass In Component was entered). The user can also choose to keep both records by updating the default record and then adding a new one. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-EHEEFO1H.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### Detection and Isolation Classification Notes Added On the RBI 581 Details Page, under the **Consequence of Failure** tab, there is a form used for calculations. Based on the selected answer for the Detection Classification and Isolation Classification, a corresponding message is now displayed below, providing the user with additional information on the selected Classification. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-I8IKBPK0.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### Calculation Steps now display the version In the RBI 581 Details Page, under the **Consequence of Failure** tab, once the Consequence of Failure calculation is completed, the **Calculation Steps** button now displays not only the calculation steps but also the version of the calculation. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-NX4W7CBM.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### CoF Calculation button added Previously, the CoF calculation was automatically triggered when saving the CoF form, Inventory Group Mass, or No. of Toxic Components grid. This is no longer the case. Now, if the user makes any changes, they must press the **Calculate** button in the **Consequence of Failure** tab to recalculate. The button has two states: - Enabled: When all input parameters are filled, and there is at least one record in the Inventory Group Mass grid. - Disabled: When input parameters are missing, or there is no record in the Inventory Group Mass grid. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-RCZUQSMX.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about the CoF tab see [RBI 581 Consequence of Failure](/v414/docs/rbi-581-consequence-of-failure). #### Representative Fluid Material in CoF form On the CoF tab, the first field was previously the selection of a Representative Fluid. Now, instead of selecting the Representative Fluid directly, the user selects a Representative Fluid Material. Based on this selection, the corresponding Representative Fluid is retrieved from the Representative Fluid table in the RBI 518 Settings, and the associated data is used in the CoF calculation. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-ELI92CCL.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) The selected Representative Fluid Material will also show in the main grid of the RBI 581 Details Page and this grid can also be filtered based on the Representative Fluid Material. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about the RBI 581 Settings see: [RBI Specific Data Settings](/docs/rbi-specific-data-settings#rbi-581-specific-data). ### RBI 581 Probability of Failure Tab Improvements #### Inspection Effectiveness added On the RBI 581 Details Page additional data has been added to the **Probability of Failure** (PoF) tab, displaying the Inspection Effectiveness Type and its Current value. If the Inspection Effectiveness type is "Severity Index," the column will show the current value of the Inspection Effectiveness (e.g., 1E in the example below). Note that the Current value is also shown in the Inspection History and Specs section. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-1O5WHBWS.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) If the Type is null or any other value, the Current value will not appear. It is also possible that Inspection Effectiveness has not been determined yet because the PoF calculation is pending. In this case, we display a dash under the Current value as shown below. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-RPGO5RH8.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### Notes option added for PoF Calculations A new button has been added in the **Probability of Failure** (PoF) tab on the RBI 581 Details Page. This allows users to add a PoF note where they can include additional information about the PoF calculation. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-BHK3E124.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### PoF Calculation button added Previously, the PoF calculation was automatically triggered when saving the PoF form. This is no longer the case. Now, if the user makes any changes, they must press the **Calculate** button in the **Probability of Failure** tab to recalculate. The button has two states: - Enabled (blue): When all required input parameters are filled. - Disabled (grey): When required input parameters are missing. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-MRKB9ID3.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) The button also greys out when calculating and a message saying the calculation has succeeded (or failed) will show on the top right of the screen. #### PoF Calculation Warning messages Previously, if the PoF calculation couldn't start due to missing parameters, the Probability of Failure, Effectiveness, NID, and MII results would be reset. Now, instead of resetting these results, depending on the situation, we display two types of warnings: - Data changed: A warning is shown, and the calculation button is enabled. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-PPLRDH9S.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) - Missing data: A warning is shown, and the calculation button is disabled. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-KI9ZKNED.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about the PoF tab see [RBI 581 Probability of Failure calculation (EXTERNAL CHLORIDE SCC)](/v414/docs/rbi-581-probability-of-failure-calculation-external-chloride-scc). ### Version, Date and User logged for each RBI 581 Calculation We added functionality to log and display the version, date and user each time the RBI 581 **Calculate** button is clicked. This can be seen below the results as well as in the different Calculation steps. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-OGUCDRGU.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) ### ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-KH4DY48Z.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) ### RBI 581 Approval and Task Enhancements #### New RBI 581 Approval and Tasks Tab The Degradation Management section in the RBI 581 Details Page now includes a new “Approval and Effectiveness” tab for managing Approvals, Inspection Effectiveness, and Tasks. Approvals have been relocated from the Risk Result pane, and Inspection Effectiveness has been removed from the former “Risk and Effectiveness” tab. Consequently, the “Risk and Effectiveness” tab has been renamed to “Risk” as it no longer contains effectiveness-related information. There are four sections that appear based on the user’s progress. - Progress Tracker: This tracks three steps: Approve Assessment; Next Inspection Effectiveness; Choose From Suggested Tasks - Approval Section: When the user finalizes the assessment approval here, the first step in the progress tracker turns blue, allowing the user to proceed to the next step. - Next Inspection Effectiveness: After final approval, the user can select the next inspection effectiveness. Once selected, the second step in the progress tracker turns blue, revealing the final step. - Choose From Suggested Tasks: Based on the chosen inspection effectiveness, the user sees two or more tasks and must select one. After selecting a task, all three steps in the progress tracker turn blue, and the fourth section appears. - Tasks to be performed: This final section provides additional information about the chosen task and is read-only. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-1XUKXI31.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) #### RBI 581 Task Cards After choosing the next inspection effectiveness in the RBI 581 **Approval and Tasks** tab, and selecting a task, a new card section appears below the "Calculate" button in the result pane on the right. This card displays the task name, followed by the next inspection effectiveness in brackets, and the task description (if available). ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pic 1-G2X1LRMJ.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A38%3A07Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A38%3A07Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FEFYxyDpjPvvqdu78iNZzbXRdVagcMQfwqCF9gb2dQo%3D) On the right side of the card, a blue button initially appears, allowing the user to add the assessment to a schedule. Once added, the button turns green, and clicking it directs the user to the selected schedule. If the assessment is reverted to draft, changes are made (e.g., PoF calculation), and the risk changes, final approving the assessment again will cause a mismatch between the assessment and schedule values. As a result, the green button changes to yellow with the label "Consider Update." Clicking this yellow button will update the schedule with the new assessment values. #### Controlled Schedule Updates for Approved APIRBI Assessments RBI 581 assessments do not immediately impact Schedules. If an assessment is Final Approved, users can add it to a Schedule. However, if they later change the RBI 581 assessment back to Draft to make updates that affect the NID and MII, these changes will not modify the Schedule because the assessment is no longer Approved. Only after you Final Approve the assessment will IMS provide the option to update the Schedule with the new data. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about the Approval and Task section see [RBI 581 Approval and Tasks](/v414/docs/rbi-581-approval-and-tasks). ### RBI 581 Details Screen URL improved Previously, the URL for the RBI 581 Details Page (e.g., https://ims-rbi-581.apps.cenosco.local/#apirbi/Equipment/1007968/EquipmentMain/1007968/374315) included the Equipment ID and Component ID as the last two numbers. This allowed users to open the URL, and the Details Page would display with the correct Component ID preselected. To improve usability, we’ve now added the RBI 581 Analysis ID to the URL. This ensures that when users copy and share the URL, the specific Analysis ID they were viewing is also included. As a result, users can easily share assessments across clients and devices, pinpointing exactly what they were reviewing. The new URL format looks like this: https://ims-rbi-581.apps.cenosco.local/#apirbi/Equipment/1007968/EquipmentMain/1007968/374315/1454754 ### API for RBI 581 An RBI 581 API service is now available. This can be accessed via the [IMS Developer Portal](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com/v414/docs/ims-developer-portal-overview). > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about the RBI 581 API service see: [RBI 581 - API service](/v414/docs/rbi-581-api-service).
