To return to the FSS Details Page: - On the ECH Details page, navigate to the FFS Inspection section. - Click **See FFS Assessment.** **![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_69(1).jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T18%3A26%3A03Z&se=2026-10-28T19%3A26%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eh%2B21cPPxf9K%2BwOXzHgcWLEms%2BByEZlnmo%2FRXpzAeBI%3D)** ## Running the FFS Analysis After the Defect data has been specified, the next step is to run the FFS Analysis from the Defects tab in the FFS Module. - Scroll to the Defects Tab in the Inspection data and Defects section of the FFS Details PAge. - Click the **Analyse** button below the list of Defects. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/analyse.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T18%3A26%3A03Z&se=2026-10-28T19%3A26%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eh%2B21cPPxf9K%2BwOXzHgcWLEms%2BByEZlnmo%2FRXpzAeBI%3D) After the data analysis has been successfully done, the results of the analysis are available in the following Tabs: Depth Summary, Defect Classification Summary, and Nom WT Comparison. ## Depth Summary Under this tab, the Inspection data is shown as measured, which means without the addition of the Sizing Accuracy. Here you can see the number of Defects per percentage of Measured Depth. > In the example below, the second row is showing that on the Measured Depth greater or equal to 10% and less than 20%, for this wall loss, there are 55 internal defects and 337 external defects. > > ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pl-fit-for-service-image-trnxifrp(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T18%3A26%3A03Z&se=2026-10-28T19%3A26%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eh%2B21cPPxf9K%2BwOXzHgcWLEms%2BByEZlnmo%2FRXpzAeBI%3D) ## Defect Classification Summary If the Defect Classification data is available in the Defects Tab, that information will be displayed in the Defect Classification Summary tab. ## Nom WT Comparison The IP Nom.WT column shows the data from the IP run. The Design Nom.WT is the data as specified by the user in the Design Data module or section FFS, Pipeline data. The value in the IP Nom.WT and Design Nom.WT should match. The difference is shown in the last column (IP nom, WT - Design nom. WT), after sorting this column it can be checked whether there are differences or not. It’s important to have the sectioning correct in case no defects are present in a section. Then the nominal Wall Thickness from the design data or sectioning will be used. ## Rerunning the FFS Analysis After saving changes to an inspection record, the record automatically gets re-analyzed. After saving changes to a single Defect, or after importing IP data from an Excel file the data is not automatically re-analysed. To re-analyse: - Click the **Analyse** button. The status of the selected inspection record, whether it has been analyzed or not, is displayed next to the button. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-1689603919640.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T18%3A26%3A03Z&se=2026-10-28T19%3A26%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eh%2B21cPPxf9K%2BwOXzHgcWLEms%2BByEZlnmo%2FRXpzAeBI%3D)Note: If you enter a large number of Defects in the Ranked Defects chart, it may take longer for all of the Defects to be displayed.
