In this case, two Schedules for the Equipment “IC Internal Corrosion Test Case P5” and “IC Internal Corrosion Test Case P6” will be created first. The files needed to create the Schedules are available in the Zip File “Data for User Manual IMS-PLSS PL 2 Internal Corrosion.zip” which you will find in the attachment of this article. Note: Make sure you download and unzip the file before starting the import.

Create the Schedules with Scope and Plancodes

To create the two Schedules:

  • Open the File “04 Import Schedules Case 4 Schedule.ImportTemplate.xlsx”.

    The file contains the following data:

  • Verify if the User Date entered in column "S" is later than today, otherwise, update it to a future date a few months from now.

  • Click Settings in the upper right corner.

  • In the menu on the left, click Data Transfer.

  • Click Data Import next.

  • Click the Browse button.

  • Select the file “04 Import Schedules Case 4 Schedule.ImportTemplate.xlsx”.

  • Select the file type for importing as “Int. Corr. Assessment”.

  • Click four times the Next button to import the data.

Pin the Equipment Imported Equipment

To pin the Equipment:

  • Navigate to the Equipment Main Screen.

  • Select the Equipment “IC Internal Corrosion Test Case P5” and “IC Internal Corrosion Test Case P6”.

  • Click the Pin button in the toolbar.

  • Navigate to the Schedule Main Screen (Grid View).

  • Open file 05 Import Scope and plan codes Case 4.ImportTemplate.xlsx.

  • In column A, write down the IDs of the two Schedules you created earlier.

  • Save the Excel file.

  • Click Browse to upload the saved file.

  • Select “Scope and plan codes”.

  • Click Next a few times to import the Excel file you saved.

On the Schedule Details Page, a Plan will be shown in the Scope and Plan section.

The same Plan will be displayed on the Schedule Main Screen (Grid View), the Scope and Plancodes have been filled in (note: this can take 1-2 minutes):

  • Select the two Schedules.

  • Click the Approve button in the toolbar, to approve the two selected Schedules in bulk.

  • In the pop-up window that opens, click Approve.

Import the internal corrosion assessment data

  • Open the file “06 Import Int Corr. Assessment.Case4.ImportTemplate.xlsx”.

  • In column K, write down the IDs of the two Schedules you created earlier.

  • Click Browse to upload the saved file.

  • Select “Int. Corr. Assessment”.

  • Click Next a few times to import the Excel file you saved.

After the data has been imported the data is shown on the ECH Details Page and on the Internal Corrosion Module. Note: it can take 1-2 minutes before indicators are colored on the screen.

The ECHs can be approved and then new Schedules will be created for the next Assessment Date.
