# PL Internal Corrosion - Degradation Management

The Degradation Management section of the Internal Corrosion Assessment module provides an overview of [Degradation Mechanisms](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com/v414/docs/defining-the-degradation-mechanisms) related to internal Corrosion. This applies only to Equipment assigned to a System with Degradation Mechanisms leading to Internal Corrosion.

The data in this section, is the same as the data in the Degradation Management section in the [PLSS Systems Details Page](/v414/docs/plss-systems-details-page). However, only the Degradation Mechanisms related to Internal Corrosion will be shown. These are specified in the Settings/Maintenance/RBI Specific data/Degradation where you can see whether the Degradation Mechanism is shown in the Internal Corrosion Module or the External one.
