This overview will explain the Dig-up and Sample Inspection

In the FFS module, you can select Dig-up or Sample Inspection as Inspection Type. This does not represent the full In-Line Inspection (ILI) run, but rather a process of recording defects over a specific coverage area. The calculations in PLSS are the same for Sample Inspection and Dig-up.

In the example above a sample inspection from 95 to 105 meters.

In the next articles, the following examples will be explained:

• It starts with a full ILI run, on Jan 1 2018.

• Then a Dig-up July 1 2018.

• Then a Dig-up Aug 1 2018.
