This overview will explain how to use and interpret IMS ECH Main Screen.

The ECH Main Screen shows an overview grid, with a list of ECHs.

Listing ECHs (the Overview Grid)

To see the list of registered ECHs:

  • Go to the IMS Main Menu.
  • Click Condition History to go to the ECH Main Screen.

  • Use the Scoping bar, the Filter, or the Search functionality to list the desired ECHs.
Find ECHs using the scoping bar / filter / search functionality. 
  • Each record shows several fields, summarizing the ECHs (see the table below). To see more, click on the Settings icon in the toolbar and add additional fields.
Click on the Settings icon to modify the grid.

Most of the column titles are self-explanatory, some important are:

Checkbox

User can tick the checkbox of interest, for example for reporting. 

IndicatorChecks the Conditions Found in an ECH and the Condition Date of the ECH. The colors correspond to the Inspection Findings.

Condition History ID

The ECH ID

Condition History Event

Condition Date

The date of the Event. (This becomes the Last Inspection date (LID) for the Schedule / in RBI.)

Description

A description specified by the user

Actions Performed

Shows the actions performed during the execution of the work

Conditions Found

Shows the conditions found during the execution of the work. This can also be data, for example the valve closure time

Repairs Planned

Shows which repairs are planned for the conditions found
Hierarchy


Equipment ID

The equipment ID

Equipment Description

The equipment description

FLOC

The FLOC name

Unit

The Unit name



Schedules


Schedules Credited

The number of credited Schedules

Current Event

This is a quarriable field that indicates when the Event took place. It is fine to leave this blank if not applicable. 

Schedules Created

The number of Schedules created under the ECH.

Approval

Approval Status

The approval status

Nr of Attachments

The number of attachments

Lables

Add a label to the selected ECH. Labels can also be set on Equipments and Schedules. The Label will be shown in a column in the grid and it is possible to filter on Labels.

Label definitions can be added under the General Settings. Click on Settings in the right upper corner on the screen and search for Label to find the enu.

Supervision

Applicable when Witnessing is enabled.

Authority

Applicable when Witnessing is enabled.

Schedules Credited

The Credited Schedule IDs.

Checklist

The selected checklist (used in the Inspection Plan Codes section).

ECH Menu Toolbar

There are several shortcuts or available features that the ECH toolbar can be used for. For more information on the toolbar see IMS Main Screen (Grid List)

Filtering ECHs

From the ECH overview page, several filters can be used to drill down the search results for the shown list of ECHs.

To filter a list:

  • Click on the Filter button.
To filter a list check the Filters you want to use.
  • Check the Filters that you want to use and click Show ….; or
  • Select a range and click the Green arrow.
