MEC optimization board overview screen An overview screen has been added to the MEC optimization board to show some overview of the equipment loaded on the board. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-6g3spu25.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 1: Long-term maintenance cost profile graph. The Long-term maintenance cost profile graph shows the distribution of: - Preventive maintenance costs - Corrective maintenance costs - Turnaround tasks costs The initial value is set to 20 years, but the user can also select a different time span. Additional graphs included in the dashboard: - Average maintenance cost per year vs. MEI - showing the cumulative distribution of the annual cost vs MEI - shown in logarithmic scale - Total maintenance cost per year per Equipment Type - show equipment types with the highest impact on the unit cost - MEI vs. maintenance cost per year per Failure mode - indicates low MEI strategies and high cost impact strategies ### 2. Merge tasks to destination task IMSD-26701 Merging tasks functionality was upgraded so the user now has more possibilities and options when merging tasks: - Now all the tasks can be merged, not just those marked as duplicated. The user will still be warned when he is trying to merge tasks not marked as duplicated and the tool will require additional confirmation - Now the user does not need to select between two options (merge to highest or lowest frequency). Instead, he/she has an option to select the “master” task, a task to which all other selected tasks will be merged to ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-olhu11zi.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 2: Merge tasks to destination task.  ### 3. Merged tasks visual indicator IMSD-26701 Master tasks (tasks to which other tasks are merged to) now are visually represented on the MEC Optimization board as group of tasks. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-teohknbu.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 3: Merged tasks visual indicator.![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-653a70yo.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 4: Merged tasks tooltip. ### 4. Slide bar and range population display on Range filters IMSFB-18227 Multiple range filters are used on MEC Optimization board, i.e.: - Tasks / Schedules Annual cost - MEI Those filters are enhanced by adding: - Range population distribution graph - Slide bar for entering From / To values ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-ssgog21x.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 14: Slide bar and range population display on Range filters.  - Every stick in the graph represents a certain number of tasks (indicated on the tooltip when the user hoovers the mouse over it). - The stick is selectable (clickable): when the user clicks on the graph it will automatically set the range from / to limits. - The range population distribution graph is limited to the most frequent range, to display that range in most details. If there are few tasks that lie outside this range, they will still be shown on the board, and their existence will be shown in the filters “To” field with an “+” sign (indicating that there are tasks now shown on the graph) ### 11. Merge duplicate tasks to an approved task with the highest frequency on production sites IMSD-25996 Script was issued to leverage all the tasks which have been detected as duplicated. ## Maintenance Libraries ### 1. Indicator for various CMMS Systems IMSD-18448 An Application setting **Enabled CMMS Systems** is added to the IMS level to define the CMMS system used by the site. This setting is applied to all IMS user roles except those having the RCM RSL GLOBAL CUSTODIAN role, and is meant to hide all the Equipment Types which are covered by the global RSL (in the global RSL database) but are not applicable to the site to which the user is currently logged in. The setting uses the bitmask approach, which means that for sites which have multiple CMMS systems, those can be covered by adding values for those CMMS systems (i.e., if the site uses GSAP and Blueprint types, the Enabled CMMS Systems will be 1+8 = 9) ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-tr9fcz3z.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 15: Enabled CMMS Systems application setting.![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-68ypxs8a.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 16: Equipment Types on site with CMMS value set to 8 = BLP. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-7mxnrmcs.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 17: Equipment Types on site with CMMS value set to 1 = GSAP.  ### 2. Add disclaimer to the global and shared RSLs IMSFB-18374 A disclaimer stating the value of the information contained inside Global and Shared Maintenance libraries is added. The text of the disclaimer is: - “The RSL data is generalized/averaged based on industry experience and specifically costs are only provided as reasonable starting point to help priority setting and scoping but should be tuned to the local actual situation. It is not set to reflect a specific site, contract, company or asset and any resemblance is purely coincidental. ” ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-2vjwgf7l.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 18: Disclaimer in the global and shared maintenance libraries.  ### 3. Indicator for PM tasks which require shutdown IMSFB-16399 Under MEC, tasks need to be identified whether they can be executed OTR or in Turnaround. It has been suggested by some disciplines that this should be included in the change request form - "Execution condition: OTR, TA, or TBD". So an Execution Condition drop-down was included to make very clear that this information needs to be defined as part of the PM change process and will assist the planners with accurately coding maintenance PMs to the correct execution condition to ensure that a required PM in the right outage environment is not missed.![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-emtugnvo.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 27: Execution condition. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-w482g6m5.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 28: Execution condition was added in grid and filter.  ### 3. Indicator for Production critical equipment IMSFB-17558 A flag was introduced in the Change and Deferral module to flag production critical equipment. This was be linked to the ABC indicator, wherein Blueprint SAP "B" criticality indicates production critical equipment, and in GSAP, either "X", "E" or "H" will identify production critical equipment. Additionally, this flag was added to Auto Approval section, like the SCE flag. This feature will allow for additional reviewers/approvers on the changes or deferrals of maintenance on the site's most important assets after our safety critical elements. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-ehrvvbx7.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 29: Production critical equipment.![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-lt8e4ink.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 30: Production critical was added in grid and filter. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-heyi1gw2.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 31: Production critical was added in grid and filter.  ### 4. Repeated deferral request IMSFB-18625 The deferral work process has additional reviewers required if the deferral is a repeat deferral on safety critical/production critical equipment /category 1 schedules. If the MEC lead, Engineering and Technology managers have concerns about repeated deferrals they need to be manually identified by the discipline TA2s to include the additional reviewers. This was automated so that if a work order has multiple deferrals, it can trigger additional reviewers. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-g9nt3qlj.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 32: Repeated deferral request. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-bdefy2ec.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 33: Repeated deferral request – Auto Approval. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-5rke31zc.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 34: Repeated indicator was added in grid and filter.  ### 5. Emails sent during the approval stages IMSFB-17518 Approvers management and mailing notifications were improved: - Mail notifications sent only once to approvers of same tier level - Weekly reminders sent only to approvers required to act (based on the tier level) - Improved mail service monitoring and control (for detection of the mails „not sent”) - Approvers removable and interchangeable for current and upper levels by site ADMIN - Requests protected from editing once approved and implemented ## Dashboards ### 1. 3D Dashboard The 3D dashboard was added to the RCM module, and the RCM specific filters were added to it. Optimize IMS database performance IMSFB-18784 The overall optimization and stabilization of the IMS-RCM tool was carried out, ranging from performance improvements of 40% to over a “multitude” faster. That include: - Database performance improvements - Main views (floc / equipment, systems etc) ... 40% - Analysis main view ... 50% - Front end performance alignments and improvements - Details screens rendering ... 40% - Operations performance improvements - Creating analysis per tag, applying RSLs, imports, bulk actions ... 20% - MEC Optimization Board improvements ... 100+% overall ### 2. Object and SAP types clean up and alignment CMMS object types and their hierarchy on downstream and upstream production sites has been checked and aligned. ### 3. CMMS Systems indicator on SITE level A CMMS System attribute is added to SITE level to improve the filtering of the Equipment Types defined in the sites database. Now to every type a CMMS value has been added by which all types which are not compatible with the setting set in the Operating Company – Toplevel menu are filtered out. For the locations using different CMMS systems for different sites now there is a possibility to better align the data in the database and in the tool. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-54lz6mom.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 50: CMMS Systems indicator on site level. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-luxw1skj.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 51: CMMS Systems filtering on the site set to BLP.  ### 4. Systems details screen redesign System details screen has been redesigned to have a clearer and more compact layout enhancing thus the user experience. The previous user interface design elements were replaced by the standard ones (panels, grids, pop-ups) and the backend logic has been altered in order to have more control on the user interaction with the screen (creating Functions and Functional Failures, adding tags, adding failure modes, RSLs, etc.): - Functions are listed in the side panel and created through a pop-up - Functional failures are shown in the main part of the screen, in separate grids, per each function ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-2424gfyc.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 52: System details screen. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-4tt3cvai.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 53: Adding a Function. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/rcm-release-rcm-3.13c-image-o2mqon8t.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A33%3A29Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A33%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2G44UfBys149FY1OlOjSuJWfcFvKGBGRMSzrlTendK4%3D)Figure 54: Adding a functional failure.  ### 5.
