MiRO SAP-CAIR Interface

Prev Next

For Miro the CAIR Schedules are interfaced with SAP.

The Hierarchy Interrace works as follows:

What does it do:

Transfer CAIR Schedule data from/to IMS to/from SAP for planning and/or budgeting purposes.

When is it triggered:

When a CAIR Schedule is Approved (new or modified) in IMS or when it has been set as completed in SAP.

How does it work:

The interface is triggered.

  • Data is pushed: from IMS to SAP, in case the CAIR data is Approved (e.g., new NID)
  • Data is pushed: from SAP to IMS once the related status has changed (also SAP notification & work order)
Who is the Master:

IMS is the Master

CAIR data that is interfaced with SAP.

Creating a CAIR

CAIRs can be created from the Schedules Main Screen, or directly from an Equipment Condition History.

Creating a CAIR from the ECH.

When a CAIR is created the Responsible Discipline should be set to "ME and EI". This way the interface will be triggered.
