Scheduling Equipment for a TA
To Schedule Equipment for a Turnaround, you need to link the Equipment to a Planned Event. Note: Planned Events are managed by PEI, so first review the existing Planned Events before creating any new ones. This can be done in the Planned Events Main Menu.
TA Schedules can be created in bulk by making use of an Import Wizard Template to link the existing Equipment to the existing Planned Events.
Download and filling in TA Schedule Templates
To download and fill in a TA Schedule Template:
- Go to Settings\Data Transfer\Import Data.
- Download the template: “TA Schedule”.
- Open the Template in Excel (the format will be ready for upload).
- Fill in the Equipment Id, i.e., the Equipment name. Note: This Equipment must already exist in IMS.
- Fill in the Responsible Technologist.
- Fill in the Activity Name.
- Fill in the Planned Event number of your Turnaround. Note: This Planned Event (Turnaround) must already exist in IMS - see Reviewing Planned Events in Settings.
- Save the sheet.
Uploading TA Schedule Templates
To upload a TA Schedule Template:
- Go to Settings\Data Transfer\Import Data.
- Select the import type: “TA Schedule”.
- Click Browse.
- Select your filled in Excel sheet.
- Click Next.
- A field mapping is shown and will automatically be mapped.
- Click Next.
- The number of Schedules found and number of Schedules that will be created are shown.
- Click Next.
- IMS will notify you when the Schedule(s) are create.
- Click Show entities to view the newly created Schedules.
You will be navigated to the Schedules main menu, and it will be filtered for your Schedules.
Listing Equipment Scheduled for a TA
To list all Equipment Scheduled for a specific Turnaround (Planned Event):
- Click on the Equipment main menu to go to the Equipment list.
- Click the filter button.
- Expand the Planned Events filter.
- Select your Planned Event.
- Click Show … matching Equipment.
All Equipment Scheduled for the selected Turnaround will be listed.
Note: You can do the same from the Schedules main menu.
