Select Offline Scope Items (Step I)

Select Items for Offline Scope

To select items for offline use:

• Open IMS.
• To select the desired items, do one of the following:
  • Go to the Equipment List and select the desired Equipment; or
  • Go to the Schedules List and select the desired Schedules (for IMS PEI) / Job List (for IMS FCM); or
  • Go to the Condition History List and select the desired ECHs; or
  • Go directly to the Schedule (Job for IMS FCM) / Equipment / ECH Details page.
    Either Equipment or Schedules or ECHs can be selected on the Equipment or Schedules or ECH Main Screens. Associated Equipment, Schedules, ECHs, and Attachments are then selected automatically.
    Alternatively, you can go directly to the Equipment or Schedule or ECH details page, to select for offline use. Associated Equipment, Schedules, ECHs, and Attachments are then selected automatically. 
• Click the Take Offline icon.
• Click Select for offline use.

Note: If you use single sign-on and have no password, IMS will now let you set a password. This will only happen the first time when you are creating offline scope. Use this password when you login to the IMS Offline App (in Step II).

Click the “Take Offline” icon, click Select for offline use, and fill in a passwords. Note: You only have to set a password the first time that you select offline scope, if you do not have one. 

• All Equipment, Components, Schedules, ECHs, and Attachments, which are related to the selected Equipment or Schedules or ECHs, are automatically selected as well. Note: For PEI, related Circuits will remain editable.

When done, you can download your offline scope to your mobile device (Step II).

Remove Offline Items

To remove your offline items:

• Go to the Equipment / Schedules / Condition History List (Main Screen).
• Click the Take Offline icon.
• Click Remove my offline items.

Overview of Offline Items

To review or manage offline scope for multiple users:

• Go to Settings/Data Transfer/Offline Scope.
• Filter the Scope status, e.g. Ready to Download, etc.
• Review the list of Offline Scope.

Note: A user can only have one active Offline Scope.
