Sync Data with Central IMS Database (Step IV)

When the ECH is recoded (Step III), sync the data with the central IMS database:

• Click the Dashboard icon.
• “PENDING SYNC” may show, if you are still offline.

Click the Dashboard icon. “PENDIN SYNC” will show, if still offline. 

• If not connected, connect your mobile device to the VPN. 
• IMS will automatically start to Sync data. If not, click Send data.
• When done, “SYNC COMPLETE” shows.
• Click Finish offline work. This will sync and merge the date into the central IMS database.

Click Finish offline work to sync the data. 

• “FINISHING OFFLINE WORK” shows.
• When the import is finished:
  • Items in the central IMS database, from where IMS reads, are unlocked.
  • Data in your local IMS database, from where IMS Offline reads, is cleared.
  • You receive an e-mail with modified/created items. A link is also included in the e-mail. This will navigate you to the updated items in IMS.
• Remember to Approve your ECH and Schedules (IMS PEI) in IMS when you are back online!
