Article summary

Dynamic Forms support answering questions per Location. You can thus add a Location to the question-answer combination. In the case of PEI a Location can be defined as a Part of the Equipment, or a CML. In the case of PLSS, the Location can be a Distance, or an Inspection Location.

Parts

IMS knows which Parts are valid for a certain Equipment Group. This configuration is shown in the settings Configuration per hierarchy type. When configured, questions can be answered per Part. For example, if it is needed to be specified on which Part of the Equipment corrosion has been found, IMS can read what are the valid Parts and then offer an option to specify where corrosion was found.

Parts per Hierarchy Type.

For the Dynamic Forms this must be configured on Field level

  • For Control Type select "Options list per object".

  • For Show per select "Equipment group parts".

  • Select the desired Lookup, e.g., "PEI_YES" .
