Table Types

The four types of Tables are described in more detail below:

Columns per Location

The Columns per Location Table Type is used to answer the same questions for each Location in a given subset. The types of Locations that can currently be used are:

  • Equipment group parts (all modules): Rows correspond to the different parts defined in the settings for each Equipment Group.

  • CMLs (PEI): Each Row in the Table corresponds to a different CML on a piece of Equipment.

  • Pipes in a Piping System (PEI): Each Row corresponds to a Pipe in a Piping System.

  • Inspection Locations (PLSS): Each Row corresponds to an inspection location defined for each piece of Equipment.

Notes

  • Preview mode is currently not available for the Columns per Location Table Type.

  • Completeness is calculated based on rows completed, not on Questions completed.

Columns per Entry

The Columns per Entry Table Type is used to answer the same Questions for each row in the Table. In this type of Table, Columns define the Questions asked per Row. Additional Rows can be added during by the User while filling out the form by clicking the + Add Row button following the last Row.

Notes

  • Completeness calculations are not currently available for this Table Type.

Table with Leading Columns

The Table with Leading Columns Table Type has fixed dimensions (number of rows and columns). In this Table Typle, Columns define the Questions to be answered and the Rows correspond to locations defined by the table designer.

It is also possible to pivot Columns and Rows by selecting the Pivot option in the Section properties for the Table.

Select Pivot to swap Rows and Columns.

Table with Specific Cell

The Table with Specific Cell is has fixed rows and columns, just like the Table with leading columns. In this case, however, the Table designer can assign a different Question to each cell in the Table.

Notes

  • This type of Table cannot be displayed in the Dynamic Forms Wizard. The structure can be viewed and edited in the Section properties on the right-hand pane of the Wizard.
