There are several places in the application from where you can add a new ECH, for example:
The following are the primary steps to creating a Condition History (ECH). Not all these steps are used for each ECH, but each of these steps is used to create a specific type of ECHs.
- Add an ECH by clicking the Plus icon.
- Fill in ECH Detail data: Date, Description, Equipment ID.
- Select the Schedule(s) that have to be credited by clicking on them. These are the Schedules that you have completed. You will know they are being credited when they are highlighted in color.
- Select the Inspection Data template, in release 3.13 always General.
- Specify the Actions Performed, Conditions Found, and Repairs if needed.
- Write the Narrative.
- Add Attachments.
- Create New Schedule(s) (e.g. Create CAIR if corrective action has to be performed).
- Review & Approve the Condition History.
Adding ECHs
To add an ECH:
- Click the Plus icon on the ECH Main Screen:
- or on the Plus icon on the PLSS EquipmentDetails Page:
- or in the Schedule Details Page:
- Enter the required data in the pop-up window. See the table below.
This dialog contains the following parameters:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Equipment ID | This field is auto populated based on the object from which you are creating the ECH. |
Condition Date | The date of the Event. This becomes the Last Inspection Date (LID) for the Schedule being credited. |
Responsible Inspector | This is an important data field. Don’t credit Schedules done by two or more inspectors on one ECH. For example, if one inspector performs the Inspection Schedule for cracking on the top head and another inspector performs the Inspection Schedule for a non-intrusive external visual inspection, then two ECHs should be created. |
Current Event | This is a quarriable field that indicates when the event took place. Options are:
|
Conclusion | A listbox with the following options:
|
Labels | Custom labels that can be assigned to each record. |
Description | This is a one-line description of the event that will display on the list of Condition Histories so that easily can be identified what the ECH is all about. E.g., Intrusive cracking inspection of the top head. |
Supervision | Applicable when Witnessing is enabled. |
Authority | Applicable when Witnessing is enabled. |
- Click Save when done.
