Drawings Section of Details Pages

A Drawings and Documents Section is displayed on the Details Page of each entity in IMS (e.g., FLOC, Equipment, CML, etc.). This section displays thumbnails of drawings that have been assigned to the entity and allows you to assign additional drawings to the entity.

To access the Drawings and Documents:

• Scroll down or click Drawings and Documents on the entity’s Details Page.

In the example above, the Details Page contains three thumbnails, including a 3D Model and two CAD drawings.

Viewing Drawings

To view a Drawing:

• Click on a thumbnail.

The Drawing will be displayed in the 2D Viewer.

Assigning new Drawings

To assign a new Drawing to your entity:

• Click Search for Drawings and Documents.

The display will change from the thumbnail view to the Drawings and Documents Search dialog.

• Enter your search Criteria in the Search portion of the dialog.

• Click Search.

• Select any Drawings or Documents that you wish to assign to the entity.

• Click Apply.

To return to the Thumbnail View:

• Click Back to Drawings and Documents.

Unassigning Drawings and Documents

To unassign a Drawing or Document from an entity:

• Hover over a thumbnail of a document.

• Click the X that appears in the top right corner of the thumbnail.

You will be asked for confirmation prior to unassigning the Drawing.

• Click Yes to confirm or No to return to dismiss the Confirmation dialog.
