Depending on the type of report, a report can be generated from the Main Screen toolbar, or from a Details Page.

Generating Reports from Main Screens

To generate an online report from a Main Screen Toolbar:

  • Go to the applicable Main Screen.
  • Select the Units that the report must show, with the scoping bar.

  • Select other key parameters, with the filter. See the figure below as an example of the Equipment filter. Note: Each Main Screen has different key parameters that can be filtered or used for the report. For more information on using filters see IMS Main Screen (Grid List).

  • Select one or more rows in the grid (in the figure below two rows were selected).
  • Click on the report button  in the toolbar to open the available reports overview.
Select desired rows in the grid and click the report button. 

  • Apply the filter on the right side of the window, to filter the reports based on its category.
In the available reports overview, filter reports.Select the Report sections:
  • Select the desired report.
  • Click on the expand button  to get the list of available sections for the report.
  • Select the sections to be included.
Select the sections to be included in the Report.

To select the generate options:

  • Click the appropriate button to either generate the document as a PDF file, an MS Word document or directly send the report to the (local) printer.

Combining Reports

For some reports, each selected item generates a separate document. That means that if you select three items from the Main Screen grid and click on Generate as Word or Generate as PDF,  you will get a zip file. For example, three Condition History entries generate a zip file with three documents, one for each entry. If you prefer getting all three reports in a single document, instead of Generate as Word or Generate as PDF, click Combine in Word or Combine in PDF.

To generate combined reports (i.e. combine multiple items into a single reports):

  • Select multiple items in the Main Screen Grid.
  • Click the report button.
  • Select the online report.
  • Click Combine in PDF, or Combine in Word

Note: If only one item was selected in the Main Screen Grid, this button does not appear. Also, when more than one report is selected, this option is not available.

Click Combine in Word or Combine in PDF. 

For other reports, like the Condition History reports (021 and 405), when multiple report sections (as well as multiple items) are selected, it is also possible to combine or separate the reports for each report section (and for each item).

To combine these report sections (and items) into one document:

  • Select (multiple) items in the Main Screen Grid.
  • Click the Report button.
  • Expand the view for the selected online report.
  • Select the applicable report sections.
  • Select the Combine in one file option.
  • Click Generate in PDF or Generate in Word.
For reports 405 and 021, to combine multiple objects into one file, use the expand view.

Including Attachments

Where applicable, either the Attachment List, or the Attachments themselves, can also be included in a report. Attachments can have different extensions, such as documents (e.g. .PDF, .DOC) or images (e.g. .JPEG, .PNG). (For more information on attachments see IMS Details Page).

The following Attachment options are available:

  • Attachment List.
  • Download Attachments separately in a zip file and merge them into the report.
  • Merge Attachments into a single report file.

Generating Custom Reports

Click on the Custom reports tab to see all Custom reports specifically created for your site. You can select any of these to generate. (If you are the owner of a Custom report then you should also be abled to edit the custom reports from here.). New Custom report can be created with the Custom Reports EditorClick the Custom reports tab to see all available Custom reports for your site.

Starring Reports

If you are creating the same reports often, star them to make them appear first in the list and save yourself time in the long run.

Generating Reports from Details Pages

Several online reports can be generated from the Details Pages.

To Generate an online Report from a Details Page:

  • Go to the applicable Detail Page.
  • Click the report button in the header of the Detail Pages.

  • Select the desired report sections.
Select the desired report sections. 
  • Select the output method, i.e., click Generate as PDF, or Generate as Word, or Print.
