DataIntegrity - Schedules w/o Mandatory Properties
The Driver/Category/Discipline not set status on the Equipment/Schedule Alignment section of the DataIntegrity Dashboard lists all Schedules that are missing at least one of the mandatory properties: Schedule Category, Schedule Driver, Responsible Discipline. Schedules affected by this issue will drop out from various Schedule grids in IMS and therefore the user may lose track of them.
Reasons as to why this situation may occur are varied:
- Legacy data issues.
- Issues left over after a software defect was introduced and resolved that in the meantime allowed the user to clear any or all of the mentioned properties.
How to work with the Dashboard
The Equipment/Schedule Alignment section breaks the data down based on the Schedule Active State where (L) denotes that the Schedule is part of legacy data. Ideally, all these counts should be zero. The idea is to give the user a chance to review the Schedules in question for any missing properties and then edit the Schedule Inspection event. After the missing information is provided and the Schedule inspection event is Approved the issue will be corrected.
Using the Custom Query
The data provider for this section is a custom Query as depicted below. You can open the custom Query by clicking the count for the category of interest in the Dashboard. This Query provides an overview of Schedules that are missing any combination of the three properties.
Let us briefly overview one example from this list. As it can be observed, Schedule COR00030455 does not have the Responsible Discipline set.
To resolve the issue, we will Edit the Inspection event, choose the appropriate Responsible Discipline, save the Inspection event and finally Approve the change.
