Article summary

Take note

This Overview will explain how to set up the Integrity status of an ECH and the associated Equipment.

The Equipment Integrity Status sets the color of the traffic light for the Equipment. This status is set while creating an ECH. You can set the integrity status from the GENERAL checklist, or the ASSESSMENT (Generic EQ.) Dynamic form.

Setting Integrity Status from Plan Codes

To set Integrity status for an ECH:

  • Create a new ECH.

  • On the ECH Details Page that opened, scroll to the Checklists Section.

  • Under Conditions Found, find INTEGRITY STATUS.

  • From the VALUE drop-down menu, select the color of the Integrity Status (traffic light).

Take note

If the Integrity Status was set by selecting a color directly in the INTEGRITY STATUS field, the Integrity status will display an Exclamation mark next to the traffic light.

Setting Integrity Status by Remaining Life Date Override

Alternatively, you can set the Integrity Status by overriding the Date of the Remaining life from the Specs. To override the Date of the Remaining Life:

  • From the INTEGRITY STATUS VALUE drop-down menu, select “REMINING LIFE DATE”.

  • Under REMINING LIFE DATE OVERRIDE VALUE, enter the new date for the Remaining life of the Equipment.

The colors indicating Integrity status will vary based on how far the Date of the Remaining life is from the present day. Refer to the table below for a breakdown of traffic light colors corresponding to downstream and upstream Equipment.

Overriding Existing Integrity Status

To override an existing Integrity Status, you will need to create a new ECH and set the Integrity status as explained above.

Note: The Equipment status will always show the Integrity status of the most recent Final Approved ECH.
