Only data related to the pinned selection is displayed, enabling you to efficiently review a specific selection of objects. To pin objects, select the objects you want (for example, Equipment) and click the *Pin* button. You can pin up to 20,000 objects. Use the scoping bar to reduce the number of selected objects if needed. Pinning can also provide insight into the extent of available data. For example, after selecting all Equipment and clicking the *Pin* button, the image below shows that the 3,141 pinned items are linked to 7 Systems, 2,351 FLOCs, and 11 Analyses. ![Equipment list displaying only the items that are pinned.](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Pinning(2).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T20%3A14%3A54Z&se=2026-10-28T21%3A14%3A54Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Ma8AJnl9O%2FkhjQS%2FZdQYbynHsTO0emunHG%2FJclteuYk%3D) Integrity Management System Functional Location ## Related - [IMS Main Screen (Grid List)](/basic-navigation-other-main-menu-options.md) - [IMS User Interface - Overview](/ims-user-interface-introduction.md)
