Piping Systems are a type of FLOC/Equipment that is used to group together pieces of Pipe and related Equipment in much the same way that Corrosion Loops are used to group together piping and Equipment subjected to the same degradation mechanisms.
Piping Systems have the advantage of reducing the number of Inspection Schedules, Work Orders and require fewer Circuits and Corrosion Schedules compared to managing Pipe at a pipe tag level.
