This online manual will give you an overview of the PLSS System and explain Degradation Management. 

The PLSS System is used to group Equipment that are part of a Pipeline or Subsea System together which makes managing them easier.

The PLSS System is used to group Equipment together.The PLSS System contains information on:

  • All the Equipment that is part of this Pipeline or Subsea System.
  • The Schedules and ECHs for that Equipment.
  • Applicable Degradation Mechanisms (DMs) with Barriers (CMF) and Indicators.
  • Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs).

Each PLSS System has its own FLOC. The FLOC of a PLSS System has the FLOC type "PLSS System-FLOC", while the System has the Equipment group "PLSS System".

A Unit can contain several Systems, every System has a unique FLOC and multiple mitigated Equipment items can be assigned to a single System.

The Systems Main screen shows an overview grid, with a list of Systems. The Systems Details Page is where the Systems are defined, Equipment, Degradation Mechanisms, Barriers and IOW are added.
